- Mild arthritis
- TBC
- Any infectious disease (including pharyngitis)
- Tumour disease
- Thrombosis, varicose veins
- Alcoholic state
- All acute inflammation in the body
- Haemophilia
- Epilepsy
- Skin diseases and lesions (fungal infections, skin problems, nasal folds, ulceration, etc.)
- Pregnancy
- The first three days of menstruation
- Drug sensitivity e.g. lidocaine
- Severe untreated cardiovascular disease
- Severe central nervous system disease
